A cool thing up at Grouse Mountain is the skating rink/pond. It is an outdoor rink just to the north of the lodge. It is not that big but is very popular.
There is a skate shop where you can get rentals and often there is a fire in the fire pit that you can sit around to put your skates on.

Programs they offer:
Public Skating - open to all. Various time and days at both rinks.
Adult Skating - for over 18 years of age.
Parent&Tot - for preschoolers and parent/gaurdians on scheduled week day mornings.
Family Skate - for the whole family. All are charged at a children's rate. A minimum charge is applied.
Skating Lessons - offered for preschoolers to adults
Rentals - both rinks are available during unscheduled times for rental.
