Kayak Lessons

(At the False Creek Community Centre)This is a 5 hour introductory course that includes the basics on equipment, getting in and out of the boat, paddling, self and assisted rescues. The first lesson takes place at the Community Centre and the second up at UBC Pool....

...You get to choose the bay session on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday evening and a pool session on Thursday evening of that week or Sunday morning of that week. The lessons cost $96 and if you sign up for the user group within a week of completing the course your first month of the recreational kayak use is only $20. Call 257-8195 for further information.
