Running Routes in Vancouver and BC

Near Down Town you can run a number of places. A couple to consider are:
Stanley Park Sea Wall - Please note due to restoration of the park the sea wall may be closed. Please consult the Vancouver Park Board at 604-257-8400 for information. False Creek Loop - Outlined by the pink line this route is approximately 6 km around and there are many good starting point around the loop such as the False Creek Community Centre, Roundhouse Community Centre, Vancouver Aquatics Centre and Science World to name a few.
If you are really into distance you can connect the two on the sea wall along english bay.

Point Grey offers many opportunities to run. Two favourites are:
Pacific Spirit Park trails - Here you can run trails in fresh air amongst trees which you can enter or end at Spanish Banks, UBC, Dunbar, UBC Golf Course, Southwest Marine Drive. Jericho and Spanish Banks Beach path - You can run from the Jericho East Beach to the Anchor past Spanish Banks Beaches (outlined by the red line). One way this is approximately 3.5 km long but to get back to your car at Jericho each will mean a 7 km route. This route offer beautiful scenery with the ocean and north shore mountains.
If you run really long distances you can link the two near the anchor where the blue and red lines meet.
